HONEYMOONERS

After many changes in plans Josh and I finally decided to go to Florida for our honeymoon. We were so excited! We were taking the red eye flight out Friday night/Saturday morning.. so that meant a LONG break after our luncheon before we had to head out to the airport. No big deal right?.. So after we had gone to our nicely decorated vehicle, drove to the car wash (being followed by family honking the whole way) and got our car all cleaned up we headed up to my parents so I could finish packing. When I was done we headed down to Josh's mom's house so he could pack and so we could eat some of our wedding cake! Then it was off to the airport!! We got parked, got through security and headed to our gate. The long plane ride to Florida was beginning! We flew all night and got into Orlando about 10:00 AM. We went straight to our hotel to see if we could do an early check in, but they said they were just cleaning our room and they would call when we could check in. We went to a mall to kill time and got a call a little after 1:00 PM to go check in... it felt like FOREVER!! We went and got checked in and what not, and then slept till about 7:00 PM since we had been up for over 24 hours. We went to dinner and then our trip began!!....

We ate at a restaurant called Jonny Rockets. It was a cute little 50's diner place and so YUMMY!!
They would bring you out these little dishes, with smiley faces in them, for ketchup!
My handsome husband!! I sure love him!
We had a couple take a picture for us.. they were really nice and asked us a few questions. When they found out we were from Utah, they asked Josh if he had gone on a Joseph Smith Polygamy Trek when he was 14. We weren't really sure what he was talking about until he said "ahh you know.. I see them out here in their white shirts and ties on their bikes waving with their little black tags on." We realized they were talking about a Mission so Josh quickly explained that it's called a mission, you can go at the age of 19 and yes he did. Haha.. it was then that I realized we were definitely not in Utah anymore!!
Ate at Cheesecake Factory twice while we were there! This was the delicious Reece's cheesecake!
We went to go see the Orlando Temple and caught some lizards on our walk over.
                                                     The lizards were EVERYWHERE!!
The beautiful Orlando Temple.. I wish we could have done a session.
We went on Sunday so we couldn't go onto the grounds. But this was pretty close!
Next stop.. Kennedy Space Center. It was AMAZING!
A little 3D movie about Astronauts.
Daytona Beach! Oh it was beautiful. The ocean was so warm too!
As you walked along the beach you would see jelly fish everywhere. Kinda cool.
We also made a stop at the Daytona Speedway. It was really fun to see such a famous place! (BELOW)
One day we went shopping and got caught in a monsoon!! It was so fun and wet!
This is the Epcot Center.. the only Disney park we had time to visit, but very worth it!

Our quick little visit to Paris to see the Eiffel Tower..

Josh kept talking like he was french.. a little embarrassing at times, but very funny too!
I thought these telephone booths were so cute!
Went to a Tampa Bay Rays game at their inside dome.

We were about 7 rows up on the third base line.. It was so cool!
Josh singing call me maybe! It was on a lot so he learned the words really fast!

That was our fun first vacation together and I wouldn't have changed a thing about it. We LOVED Florida so much and we definitely would go back again!!
